Working across architecture, interiors, installation, and furniture design, SAPID STUDIO approaches each project as an opportunity to create spaces that are deeply attuned to their context.
Borrowed from the culinary world, "sapid" describes something pleasant in taste. The name reflects the studio’s belief that the built environment should nourish and enrich those who experience it. SAPID STUDIO works across scales while maintaining a consistent commitment to thoughtful detailing, materiality and collaboration.
Existing conditions are fundamental to the studio’s design process: their constraints, traces, imperfections, and unexpected possibilities. Rather than erasing what is already there, the studio seeks to understand and transform it through precise interventions, material choices, and atmosphere. The result is work that feels rooted in its setting while remaining distinctly contemporary.
The studio believes that the strongest projects emerge through close dialogue with clients, craftspeople and the communities each project serves. Collaboration is not simply a means of realizing a design, but an essential part of the design process itself.
